Question : What do you think about total knee replacement on both knees at the same time?
What is the average length of time for recovery in the hospital?
What is the average length of time for total recovery?
How is the pain and how is it treated?
i am narcotic free for seven months + and this a concern.

I m dr Alok, pleased to answer your queries today
Both knee replacement at same tume is a good idea, it reduce cost, complication and duration of stay in hospital and recovery is good.
Usually one has to stay in hospital for one week and patient is fully mobilized in one month.
Pain is minimal post surgery and well controlled by usual pain killer.
