Question : Hi i took mifeprin, i am about to take zitotec in few hours but i am bleeding now..should i take zitotec or its not required and can i travel directly after taking this medicine?
Brief answer....you must take ZITOTEC for proper effect
Detailed answer....
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Although some bleeding may occur with use of mifiprin but it is ZITOTEC which causes strong contractions in uterus leading to expulsion of foetus and abortion. You must definitely take ZITOTEC.
Since there would be strong uterine cramps leading to heavy bleeding after taking ZITOTEC,I would advise you to avoid travelling for few days because this heavy bleeding may continue for few days.
Some spotting or bleeding may continue for even 2 weeks.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
