Question : I had pain in lower left side last night. I went to urgent care where they sent me to the hospital for a cat scan on stomach area.the results showed a kidney stone 5-6 mm at the left uterovesical junction. I have no pain today. I am supposed to take a 6 hour flight Friday AM. I was prescribed flow XXXXXXX and hydrocone. I cannot see a urologist before I leave. Is it safe to fly?
Brief Answer:
A kidney stone 5-6 mm is not contraindication to fly
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
A kidney stone 5-6 mm is not contraindication to fly. If this was the only cause diagnosed for your pain, then you can safely fly.
Thanks!
