Question : I have a vibrating senstation in my groin area that started last Friday and has gotten more persistent and with only a pause of a few seconds between sensations.
No pain, just getting a bit annoying, b/c they are becoming more frequent and very consistent.
Should I go to an emergency room or make an appointment with a neurologist?

Brief Answer:
I will rather suggest you see a neurologist on appointment basis!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these persistent vibrations and all the inconveniences this has caused you. This is not a very commonly encountered symptoms and for sure, the exact cause is different to state. However, it is of no threat to life and doesn’t really constitute an emergency. For this reason, I will suggest that you don’t go to any ER and rather seek to get an appointment with a neurologist. Also, practice some form of physical exercise and I wouldn’t be surprised if this were to resolve spontaneously as the symptom is not suggestive of an underlying disease or ongoing disease process.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.

Thank you Dr. Ditah.... I was thinking that just now, because the vibrating is getting is becoming more prominent and more frequent. I'll do some basic yoga in the morning and see if that will help.

Could this be associated with me taking 2 flights a week?

Brief Answer:
Not related to flight!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This is really not related to flight. To me, it is isolated and time will see it pass on. I will suggest that we go ahead and try YOGA. Progress will be instrumental in making the right decisions as well.

Bets wishes!
