Brief Answer:
Severe form of Vitamin D defeciency.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,

Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

Normal values of Serum Vitamin D levels is 20 ng/ml to 50ng/ml.

A value less than 12 ng/ml is considered to be Vitamin deficiency.

Your mother comes under severe form of Vitamin D deficiency.

I advise her to take Vitamin D 60,000 IU once weekly for 3 months.

Note:These drugs should be taken under strict medical supervision of your doctor.

Repeat Vitamin levels after completion of the treatment.

Post your further queries if any,

Thank you.
