Question : My wife has a splenic artery aneurism. She has started vomiting this afternoon . Could the vomiting be related to the aneurism?
Brief Answer:
Yes, it could be
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Rupture of an aneurysm would increase pressure on contents of the abdomen due to bleeding and hence can cause severe vomiting. If vomiting is not related to loose motion or any other symptom then an ultrasound should be done to rule out aneurysm rupture.
Hope I have answered your query.
