Question : After a year I had 3 seizures in a night and vomited during 1 of them. That was not normal for me in any way. Do I need to see the neurologist? I'm currently on 2 seizure medicines already.

Brief Answer:
Read below

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern after a year free of seizures.
Regarding the vomiting that is possible after a generalized seizure, it is something to be alarmed about.
As to what precipitated the seizures after a year, often no trigger can be found. Some factors may be missed dose of medication (most common), fever, lack of sleep, caffeine or other stimulants, alcohol or drugs, nutritional deficiencies, dehydration, menstrual cycle etc

If as it seems the seizures were all inside a short interval and you have now fully recovered consciousness I wouldn't rush to the neurologist. If you have more seizures after a distance of at least 24 hours of the first then yes, you should see the neurologist as tests for medication levels and reconsideration of dose/medication may be necessary.
If on the other hand you have more seizures today, I would go to the ER.

I remain at your disposal for further questions.
