Brief Answer:
Check tests advised, Follow treatment as advised with drug adjustment

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome to HCM
I'm Dr Dinah and I'll be answering your queries today.
It is good to see that Plaquenil has given you good results with regard to your Discoid Lupus condition.
I understand your worry regarding weight loss and fatigue. You must keep in mind that it is a strong medication requiring regular monitoring, and given your age it would affect your general state a little more. Weight loss and loss of appetite is a known but less serious side effect of this drug.
Since you have done blood tests, I hope you have checked your thyroid levels, sugar levels and liver tests as required when on the drug. If not kindly get them done. Abnormal levels of these can lead to your symptoms as well.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the various drugs you are taking such as lisinopril, atorvastatin etc, do react with Plaquenil and can affect the liver mildly and may require changes in the dosage. Do discuss this with your dermatologist as well as treating physician. Mention all the drugs you are taking and clarify whether any adjustments need to be made. Sometimes, a reduction in dose may boost your appetite and digestion and help your symptoms.
Get as much rest as you need. make sure to monitor your blood tests as advised. Avoid sun exposure. Get your regular eye check up as well, while on plaquenil.

Do get back to me with any further doubts or clarifications you may have.
Hope this helps you
