I understand your concern.
In my opinion white discharge is not diagnostic of pregnancy. But white discharge is seen in few cases of pregnancy.
Physiological or normal conditions associated with white discharge:-
1) white discharge is seen during pre ovulatory and premenstrual phase.
2) In pregnancy excess white discharge is seen due to increased vascularity.
But this white discharge is not associated with itching and foul smelling.
Some pathological conditions associated with white discharge:-
1)Candidiasis- It is a fungal infection. Here curd white discharge is seen and associated with severe itching. This is also seen in pregnancy due to alteration of vaginal ph and immunosuppression in pregnancy.
2)Trichomoniasis- It is a protozoal infection. Here the discharge is creamy and slightly green.
3)Also seen in sexually transmitted infections.
In pathological conditions white discharge is associated with itching, foul smelling and sometimes pain abdomen.
