Is White Vaginal Discharge Normal During Pregnancy?

Question: Hi XXXXXXX My wife is 26 weeks pregnant.As informed earlier, she had preterm labor last week and doctors have subsided that by giving duadilin drips.Now she is fine. But sometimes she is saying dat is getting white discharge(not so thick). Is it common to have dat during 26 weeks or do we need to consult our gyaneic immediately? Yes, I completely remember the discussion thread, and you were worrying as she wanted to travel to her mother's place. Yes, it is good that the preterm labour pains have subsided with the injectable Duvadilan drip. Please make sure she continues to take the Duvadilan tablets as prescribed also. Yes, during pregnancy, whitish discharge is quite common. It should not be watery, foul smelling, purulent, or associated with itching or redness in the vagina. So do not worry if none of these symptoms are present. There is no indication to consult your doctor immediately. What is the amount of the discharge , does it just stain the underclothes or is it quite profuse, like urine ( watery ) ?
