Question : My girl friend is going through custody battle she has been accused of abuse of opiates. She has a doctors prescription for:
Zopidem 0.125 Mg

Citalopram 20Mg
Are any of these considered an Opiate?
If so how long does she need to be off them to have a clean UA?

Brief Answer:
None of those medication are considered opiates.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

None of the medication that your girlfriend is on are considered as opiates.

- Zolpidem is a non-benzodiazepine sedative medication.
- Lamotrigine is a mood stabilizer medication.
- Citalopram is an anti-depressant medication.

These medication will not show up as opiates in a UA. So she can continue the medication without any worry.
