Question: It seems i had some bug bite while sleeping as suddenly i have itching and redness in many parts of thr body.

I took levocitrizine 5mg.

My question is:- i m breastfeeding my 6month+ daughter ,is it safe to take levocerrizine while breatfeeding.

What else can i take

Yes, you can take the Levocetirizine 5mg while breastfeeding...Although some amount of the drug can get into the breastmilk, it's a minimal amount hence negligible...

Additionally, you can apply soothing aloe-vera lotion all over the body, avoid direct sunlight exposure and take cold water shower for quick relief...

However, despite this, if the itching and redness persist/worsen further, then please get it checked out once by any nearby physician for further evaluation...
