Question : It started months ago with a terrible itching around the clitoris. I didn't know what to do. There was no drainage, I finally went to my gynecologist and she said it could be an infection. No one looked at it but my husband and I saw nothing outwardly. I started using an anti-infection cream but it didn't work but temporary. It did decrease for a while but it would come back again. I used an anti-itch cream but that didn't help much. The pain has gotten worst often it feels like when I can't climate. that nervous hyper feeling. I begin to feel a nerve is affected. Just in the last few daysthe outside of my clitoris area is swollen and there is a hard spot where the perineal area starts.

I can understand your situation.
But it is very difficult to comment without seeing directly or pictures. However with the description it looks like infection only.
Are you diabetic?

If there is redness and swelling you can attempt to retract the skin over the clitoris and squeeze the area.
If it is increasing you may need oral antimicrobials.
