Question : I have a lot of itching around my waist. Only there. what could it be?

Dear Patient,

Itching around the waist can be a fungal infection if it has borders and scaling or it can be pressure urticaria due to tight belt.

In case the itching subsides on wearing loose clothes then possibility of urticaria is more.

A course of topical antifungal like Clotrimazole is required in case of a fungal infection.
