I've Been Having Very Hard Painful Palpitations For Over 5 Year
Question: I've been having very hard painful palpitations for over 5 years. I've recently seen a cardiologist and conducted a battery of test just to be told its anxiety and I disapprove. Sometimes taking magnesium helps but has stopped. I've been on atenolol which did stop my palpitations for 4 months. I'm now on Metoprolol but it hasn't done anything. I am helpless as these palpitations keep me up 24/7. I'm 31 years old non smoker non drinker or drugs no family history had covid in January. I'm losing weight very quickly about 3-5 pounds a week. Any tips?

Hello
After going through the medical query raised by you I can understand your concern and I would like to tell you that unintentional and significant weight is loosing more than 10pounds over a period of 6months or loosing more than 5% of total body weight in 6months.
I have gone through your provided reports and nothing seems alarming there.
However both your issues of palpitations and weight loss can be found and patient having anxiety and stress issues.
I would like to suggest you to consider taking help from a psychologist also. Follow healthy lifestyle routine which should include daily brisk walk for atleast 40mins along with healthy diet.
Kind Regards
