I've Been Suffering From Dizziness . A Lot. I Have

I have heart palpitations that won't show up if doctors want to check it. But I don't know if this is relevant at all.
I've had an MRI scan for my head, which was for a phantom smell of cigarettes that kept plaguing me, but the scan showed nothing. The smell is gone now (luckily)
The dizziness is a constant problem and it has been all my life. I've been to so many doctors, but they all tell me it's my age. I'm only 21, there's nothing that should cause this. I don't smoke, I don't drink alcohol, I'm completely fine other than the dizziness and the heart palpitations.
I can't stand it anymore. It's been so bad the last few days, no amount of laying down, sitting, standing, moving, sugar or food can seem to control this. A coca cola seemed all I needed years ago, now all I can do is try not to become nauseous from the dizziness.
Can this be something no doctor wants to look into or... I don't know.
I looked up things online, went to real doctors, I just want it to stop.
Cardiac and thyroid conditions to consider.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask a Doctor' service.
I have read your query and here is my advice.
Neurological disorders are largely excluded as underlying causes of the dizziness since the MRI showed no problems.
Since you feel palpitations too, besides dizziness, arrhythmias, changes in blood pressure, may be considered further.
In order to evaluate correctly this possibility, it is necessary for you to wear a 24 to 48 hours Holter monitoring device.
Another possible condition may be low thyroid gland function.
Blood tests for thyroid hormone levels are also necessary.
Please discuss with your Doctor for these issues.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
