I’ve Developed This Rash In The Inner Part Of My Thighs Near My Scrotum

Question: Hello, I’ve developed this rash in the inner part of my thighs near my scrotum along with bumps recently. It’s itchy but I have no STDs as I’ve had a recent panel. I do already have diagnosed sebhorreic dermatitis and sensitive skin. I can provide pics but my skin is red and inflammed and it seems to be peeling a bit.
Brief Answer:
Candidal intertrigo
Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
You seem to have intertrigo which is inflammation of body folds. Candida is a common cause and it presents as redness of body folds with satellite lesions / bumps. Sweating and humidity promotes growth of the yeast. I suggest you to use an antifungal dusting powder during day time. At night you may use an antifungal cream e.g clotrimazole cream or ketoconazole cream, twice daily for a few days. In addition I suggest you to take an oral antihistamine e.g Cetrizine 10mg once daily for symptomatic relief from itching.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
