Question: I've had headaches, tons of head pressure, dizziness and feeling light headed on and off for years. Then, a few weeks ago I felt like I was going to pass out while I was sitting, my left arm ached, blurry vision, and I felt like I couldn't use my arms or legs. The next few days I was off balance, trouble walking, and my cognitive is diminished. Now, I have constant head pressure and still off balance and cognitive is still diminished. I'm frustrated!

Brief Answer:
Uncontrolled blood pressure and arythmia to consider.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

Uncontrolled blood pressure may be one of the most important factors that can cause damage to the brain like those found by MRI.

Another condition that may cause ischemic stroke may be arythmia.

Seizures and other symptoms that you are experiencing are consequences of brain matter damage.

So, my opinion is that in your case is necessary a multidisciplinary approach from Neurologist and Cardiologist in order to get a correct diagnosis and treatment for your condition.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

I've had a cardiologist check out my heart and everythings good, no blood pressure issues. The most debilitating thing is the head pressure. Could it be benign interacraniol pressure? I have empty sella syndrome, isn't that a symptom of it?

Brief Answer:
Read below.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

Symptoms you describe are not typical of empty sella syndrome, the prominent symptom of this syndrome is a headache that subsides when lying down.

MRI and MRA results are very important in cases like yours for a correct diagnosis and those findings are mostly linked to changes in blood pressure.

Changes of intracranial tension also may be a possibility.

Please provide the MRI report in order for me to understand better your condition.

Waiting.
