Question : Just noticed this 2 weeks ago - I had thought I had gotten bit by a spider or something as I had severe inner ear pain and jaw pain. That subsided but this skin colored bump on outer ear remains...any idea as to what this is? I have an appt with a dermatologist Monday however I went down a google rabbit hole and now am completely freaking out.

i think it is a freckled mole...that maybe i never noticed as it it behind and on the back rim of ear...i am 40 female.

ok here is one further back - as well as the close up i sent prior show the skin differentiation. i will not be paying anymore money - so please review and let me know your thoughts.

area in question has no pain, no discomfort, no itch. i would not have even known it was there if i hadnt been looking at my ear when i got bit a few weeks ago inside my ear.

These are showing skin discoloration, and a small spot indicating an insect bite.
Since there are no symptoms you can wait and watch.
And anyway the Dermatologist will see on Monday.
