You
Hi. I am on lexapro nearly 5 weeks, gradually built it up to 20mg in the lady week. Dr also prescribed canes and sleeping tablet. Have suffered chronic anxiety adjusting to lexapro. Also lack of sleep. It settled for 5 days and I slept when I was on my combined pill free days, but am now back on pill 2 days and back to no sleep and chronic anxiety setting in. Is the pill affecting things? Feeling dreadful as taking a sleeping tab and only getting 2 hrs sleep. What might you advise.
5 weeks. I think the contraceptive pill or maybe coincidence. The lexapro is taking time to work. Also taking a sleeping tab and canes are too much in system

I suffer anxiety but manage it myself. A life changing event brought on severe anxiety which my Dr prescribed the lexapro for. I have been on lexapro previously and found it effective

Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety. Relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation can help a bit.

Hi,
When there is severe anxiety symptms, your body stress response can overdrive and affect the nervous system and lead to temporary symptoms like burning sensation and itching.
