Brief Answer:
No need to worry will resolve in 90 percent cases

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Laryngomalacia or floppy larynx is a very common condition which is seen in this age. Usually, in 90 percent cases, no treatment is required. It usually settles by 2 years.
Usually, it causes airway obstruction and stridor, breathing difficulty, which can be addressed at that time by your Pediatrician.
Severe obstruction may require nebulization and monitoring of oxygen saturation.

Surgery is very rarely required in the form of endoscopic supraglottoplasty. There are certain complications like stenosis and requirement of repeat procedure but this is seen in kids with other problems like reflux, anemia, or any other coexisting illness.
I think your child should improve in the next few months. Just follow up regularly every 3 months at least with your Pediatrician.
Regards
Dr Arun
