Question : hello,problem of itching on a part of thigh is troubling,may be due to some insect bite,not sure.The picture of effected area is attched .Kindly advice.

Hello,

Yes it does seem like an insect bite. I suggest you to take an oral antihistamine e.g Cetrizine 10mg once daily for symptomatic relief for 3-5 days. In addition I suggest you to apply a moderately potent topical steroid cream e.g either triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% cream or mometasone furoate 0.1% cream, twice daily for a few days.
