Dear Doctor Saab we have never done thyroid profiletest ever since 2011. Occassionally our Doctor ask us to take T3 and T4 tests. Both are normal so far.My wife is having hypothyroid since 2011. Next time we ll get it done and contact you. The TSH value 2.00 i s done two days back. Please advise whether she can continue 50 mcg or she has to reduce the dosage to 25 mcg.Sorry for troubling you.
Brief Answer:
Continue the same
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back.
With Tsh value of 2.00, you will be considered euthyroid provided you do not have any worsening of symptoms.
She must continue the same 50Mcg and recheck Free T3, Free T4 and TSh after 3 months from now and contact me here for better dosage titration.
Hope, I answered your query.
Wish you good health.
