Question: Hi,
I am 35 years old. My wife and me are trying to conceive for the past 6 months. All investigations for my wife are normal. But my Semen analysis shows the following report. Can u please interpret my result and let me know if it will improve. I am trying to improve my lifestyle with exercise and healthy food now. Kindly tell me know wat medicines to take the brand of vitamins.
Will such condition improve with lifestyle changes or considering our age factor my wife is 34 yrs should we go for IVF ??
Kindly give yr valuable opinion and treatment.

Semen analysis to be repeated afté 2 months

Greetings
Present semen analysis shows reduced motility.One report cannot confirm the semen quality.
Multivitamins and antioxidants to be taken after a direct check up of your scrotum by an urologist to rule out varicocele ,infection or any other abnormalities. semen analysis can be repeated after check up.
Mean while ovulation has to be confirmed by follicular study by ultrasound scan.
If ovulation is normal tubal patency has to be confirmed.
After confirming everything , if she is normal you can try natural intercourse. If not IUI can be attempted .

Can u suggest me the brands of multivitamins and antioxidants??
Right now I am out of station for training of 1 month so I will like to start taking the vitamins and when I reach my hometown would do the needful investigations.
And is the sperm morphology of 7 % normal or low ?

Since she is planning to conceive, can take 12.5 mcg or 25mcg initially on empty stomach and repeat FT3.FT4.TSH after 1 month or can repaet FT3 FT4 AND TSH ONCE again and decide.

One more question
My wife TSH is 5.890.. she has no previous history of high TSH or any problem. Family doctor suggested she take tab thyronorm 25 mcg in the morning.. do u think it’s required for her level?? Since we are trying to conceive. Will this cause any problem .
