Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome on icliniq!
I understand your concern and would like to explain that such a throbbing sensation on the neck side is just an increased artery pulse feeling while changing body position.
No clinical significance or concerning issue lies being such a finding as for as it is a transient feeling.
Anyway, if the problem persists, I would recommend performing a Doppler ultrasound of the carotid arteries ( in order to examine the blood flow in them) and checking thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
I remain at your disposal for any further questions whenever you need!
Wishing all the best,
