Brief Answer:
Amikacin injections...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The culture reports reveals significant E coli growth and fluroquinolone drugs like ofloxacin as well as norflox are resistant. In such case, I would prefer you to be treated with amikacin injections twice daily for 5 -7 days.
Niftas will also be an alternative treatment as report show that organisms are sensitive to nitrofurantoin.
Discuss both the options with your treating doctor. It is important that you condition and response to medications are monitored by the doctor.
Hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Brief Answer:
Amikacin > nitrofurantoin.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
In my clinic I prefer injectable amikacin while treating E coli urinary tract infections. If it isn't feasible to take every day injections, nitrofurantoin (Niftas) is my second choice.
You may as well continue niftas now if you have already started it.
Discuss with your treating doctor and get the treatment / progress monitored. Based on your response / repeat urine test, drugs may be changed accordingly.
Hope this helped. Let me know if you have any other concerns.
