Baby oil per se does not cause infection but yes, if it was contaminated or more likely done with unclean hands then that could be the cause. The source of infection could be the oil, so avoid using it [the same bottle] in future. If you practice adequate genital hygiene like washing up after masturbation or sexual intercourse such a problem can be prevented.

As of now, you need to control the present pustules by appropriate antibiotics as prescribed by your doctor after examining it. I feel it will resolve soon since it is not likely a sexually transmitted infection. So don’t worry. Hope I have answered your query.
