Hi,
Welcome to XXXXXXX

High white blood cell count could indicate, Infection, Inflammation, Trauma, Allergy, Intense exercise, Severe physical or emotional stress, Use of certain medications, such as corticosteroids, antibiotics or anti-seizure drugs.

Presently i advice you not to go for any medications, it will be better if you mention the reason why this test was done. As you have mentioned the lady is fine, i advice you to perform the test at least week later and then depending on the report can decide for the further evaluation.

Hope I have provided the information you needed.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Hello
Good to hear from you.

The white blood cell count provides a clue to the presence of illness. White cells protect the body by fighting infection and attacking foreign material.

Even some allergy might be responsible for increasing it so i advice you to do differential leukocyte count test. The proportions of the different types of white cells in the blood, usually split into the different types of granulocytes, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils. From that test, one can know which cells are increased.

I advice you to see physician with the above report for thorough examination, as it is very difficult to exactly diagnose without examination.

Wish you good health.
