                                            Question : Mom 99 has chf her legs are swollen and has one blister the size of a quarter not breaking. She had this once before and it broke while I was treating her legs with a peroxide wash and mupirocin   Can I help break this blister. I also wrap that leg at night and she wears compression St Kong’s during the day.

After reviewing the medical details provided by you my suggestion is that it’s advisable to let the blister rupture by itself as that will minimise the chances of infection and will also have less healing time.
Once it get ruptured you need to clean the raw area twice daily and then cover it with some antibiotics ointments.
