Question : My 1 year old son had a fever of 102 two days ago but it broke after less than 24 hours. This morning he woke up with a rash all over his face and body (red dots and splotches). He’s acting normal. Should I be worried? Will it go away on its own?

The rashes seem to be due to viral infection as measles.

Please visit your Pediatrician at the earliest to avoid bad sequels wherein pneumonia, ear infection, and the brain could subsequently be affected (in a condition commonly referred to as SSPE).
