Question: My 2.3 year old daughter is suffering from cold from yesterday. We can see the mucus coming out from her nose every now and then. No cough and fever as such. She looks little tired and went off to sleep little early today afternoon. Otherwise she seems to be normal.

Last time you suggested to take Atarax Drops. Can this medicine be given to her along with Nasal drops? In case of fever, can we also give her Crocin drops?

Kindly suggest the right medicines along with right dosage for her age(2.3 years) and weight (14.5 kg approx)

Hello,
Yes, you can feel free to give Atarax Drops 1.2 ml thrice daily. It can be given alongside nasal drops. In case she has a temperature above 100°F, give Crocin Drops when required (or 4 ml of Crocin DS 240 syrup) and/or tepid sponging. Atarax should take care of the runny nose.
