Question : My 3-year old daughter has worms and itching her anus area. We have given her Zental 10ml 3months back and before that 4 months back. Please let me know if we can give her the medicine again now? She is repeatedly getting this issue within 3 to 4 months after giving the medication. Please advise.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Let me assure you that you can repeat the dose once again and there is no problem with the same. The dose also needs to be repeated after 2 weeks.

The source of the repeated infections needs to be looked into. It is possible that she is putting things into her mouth (pica) and avoidance of the potential sources is essential.
