Question: My 64 year old husband has been experiencing a feeling of confusion and fuzziness in the head as he describes it for the last two days. He is having difficulty remembering what he has done in the last two days. I made him a doctors appointment yesterday, but it is not for 3 weeks. He is confused, should we take him in to emergency?

Brief Answer:
Yes, better to take him to the emergency.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your description of the problem carefully.

A sudden onset of memory loss along with confusion and fuzziness in the head could indicate a stroke. It is best to take him to the emergency and get him evaluated without delay.

You can get back to me once he is evaluated in the emergency so that I can clarify any doubts you may have based on the test results.

Hope I have been of some help.

Wishing your husband a speedy recovery.

Regards.
