Upper right side of head
Brief Answer:
Probably a tension type headache, you should not be worried
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The headache of your son can be related to many medical conditions.
The headache in children are very common and are not a cause of concern.
The most common cause can be a tension headache.
Another possible cause can be minor trauma.
Also, too much caffeine, which is contained in soda, chocolates and teas can cause headaches.
Only if the headache continues in time I suggest to do a CT scan to exclude the possibility of tumors.
Meanwhile, I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Tylenol.
I also recommend avoiding factors that trigger the headache.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
