Question : My age is 27, I don't have diabetes, high blood pressure or heart disease and I am suffering from erectile dysfunction, low libido and numb penis for the past twelve months. I can barely get an erection, I don't feel my penis, stopped getting morning wood and when erection happens it is incomplete (only 30%) and my penis is not hard enough, immediately goes soft again. I am suffering from whole body numbness, tingling and needle, burning sensation chronic fatigue, reduced sensation of touch. I went to neurologist and done MRI nerve conduction test. However, results were normal. I tried cialis and viagra but it didn't work. I practiced 45 minutes exercise four days a week. I took high protein diet rich in vegetables and fruits and anti oxidants like. However, my ED is just getting worse. Do I have multiple sclerosis that caused all above symptoms in addition to ED ? Is there nerve damage to penis?
Is there a treatment that can help?

Brief Answer:
Probably not MS

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mamam,

I am sorry to hear about your troubles. It could be nerve issue (not MS) so you should have an electromyography and neurography of your pelvic nerves. Vascular disease and mental issues are unlikely given the absence of morning erections. There are other treatment possibilities in the cialis group of drugs (e.g. tadalafil) that you can try and also local injections that may help.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have further questions.

What is possibly the root cause for my condition especially that my age is only 27

Brief Answer:
Difficult to say

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,

It is difficult to say. A good way to go is to be assessed by an endocrinologist to see if it is a hormonal problem, e.g. with testosterone.

How does that sound?

OK

Hi again,

Sorry for the late reply. The hormones look good, so I recommend you have the electromyography/neurography performed to see if it is a neurological issue.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Brief Answer:
No

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,

No, hemorrhoids are not related to your issue. I still recommend the electroneurography and myography.

Best wishes.
