Question : My baby is 8 months
I introduced him pineapple with oats and he started pooping a lot and he got diaper rash like that area is fully red . I think itâs good allergy. What shall I do to help him recover from diaper rash?

Yes it could be food allergy based on your history and description.
I usually recommend not to use diapers for a few days till the rash heals.
You can use cloth napkins, etc. Ensure the perineum is well aerated. You can even use a table fan to help it keep dry in that area.
I also recommend emollients like diaper rash creams like dermadew
for such patients in my clinic .
Also I add zinc drops daily for a week for such babies to help in healing..
You may try these tips, but if rashes get worse, consult your pediatrician for further treatment after clinical examination to rule out any other cause like bacterial or fungal infection.
