Question : My brother has an eye irritation not sure if it is from the white powder from an old battery or from pepper. The eye feels irritated. What should he do?

Hey thanks for the question . Did the powder or peeper actually come in contact with the eye ? If yes then it is better to get an eye examination done and rule out any retained foreign bodies . Secondly if he has redness , pain associated with it then we need to rule out eye flu . If he just has eye irritation and no other symptoms then you can use carboxymethylcellulose eye drops and instill them four times a day in both eye for two weeks . Hopw my answer helps you . Regards
