Question: My daughter is 12 yrs old. She has been having pain in her gums for the last two days. I've tried saline water rinsing, but she is struggling to eat because of the pain. No dental clinic is open due to the lockdown hence seeking help.

I have read your query and understand your concern. As far as she had painful gums since last to days it can be due to erupting tooth or carious tooth or gums inflammation.

Can you upload picture of her gum that will be helpful for me to give you proper diagnosis and treatment plan for your daughter.

Inmeantime for pain i will suggest you to give her medicine like Syrup Calpol or Syrup Ibugesic three times a daily by consulting with local doctor.
- Gently Massage Mustard oil mixed with salt on her gums with finger twice daily that will be give her relief .
- Give her soft diet .
