My Daughter Is 2 Years Old. I Have 2 Concerns.

1. From the time she was born, there is white boil like thing on her left nipple. Our pediatrician told us not to worry about it but I wanted to cross check. I have attached the image.
2. A month ago she fell down while playing and bruised her face. We applied boroline on the cuts and the cuts have healed but have left a mark under her left eye. What can be done to make the mark dissappear? I have attached the image.
Please help.
Thank you.

Ryan
Likely milia or inclusion cyst
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for choosing Ask A Doctor platform
I have seen the image and do understand your concern.
There is small white swelling at left nipple. This type of swelling since birth is quite rare and usually benign in nature. In most of the cases no treatment is needed. This can be primary Milia or epidermal inclusion cyst.
The final diagnosis is made by histopathology.
Usually it does not need any treatment unless rapidly increasing in size, any associated discharge or infection.
Needs surgical removal(small incision surgery)for cosmetic reason.
So for this nipple swelling you need not to worry if not increasing in size or there is no associated symptoms.
If there is cosmetic issue please consult a dermatologist.
For mild hyperpigmented scar (hardly visible) following injury, I wont get worried as it fades on its own as the child grows , without any specific treatment.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more doubts.
Regards
