My Daughter Is 6 Years Old. She Has Been Complaining

Question: My daughter is 6 years old. She has been complaining of pain in her left upper side gums since 2 days. I checked her gums today and found a small red eruption on the top of her first molar on the left upper side. I have attached the picture. Few months ago she had a small ulcer in her mouth and her paediatrician had prescribed Orashield cream. Please opine if I can use the same cream. Also, is this red eruption an ulcer. She has been using her finger for brushing her teeth so I thought it could be a finger nail injury or due to toothbrush. Please help.

Brief Answer:
Looks like infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I have received the images.

It looks like infection in the gum or might be due to tooth infection leading to a boil..

You need to get it checked by a Dentist and am x ray has to be taken if there is tooth infection or deep gum infection..
Gel
For now you can apply the Orashield Gel and make her do warm saline gargles..

But for complete resolution the cause has to be ruled out and a clinical examination is must..

Hope this helps..
