Question : my daughter is having massive hair fall since last 3 months. she is 13 yrs and 10 months. pls suggest she suffers from auto immune liver hepatitis and had taken azoran for 2 yrs. Azoran stopped in XXXXXXX this yr. all blood parameters are normal as per the last test done 2 months back

Hello ,

Most likely she has Telogen effluvium to a precipitating cause like nutritional deficiency, weight loss, extreme stress (medical illness or mental stress). I advice you to get her thyroid function test and serum ferritin levels. If they are deranged necessary steps can be taken. Till then she may use a tincture benzoin (Folica hair tincture). It need to be applied on scalp skin and massaged gently with fingers.
