Question : My daughter just had her first labs done. She is 10 months old. Her white blood cells, platelets and lymph’s are high. She hasn’t been sick as of recently. Just teething.

Should I be overly concerned about these numbers?

How long should I wait to retest her levels to see if they keep increasing or they drop?

I am seeing here pcp in a week but wanted a little clarification while I wait for her appt. I am attaching pictures of her labs. Thank you for your time.

Brief Answer:
These are normal values

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

These values are within normal limits for a 10 month old. Lymphocytes are normally high in infants. Especially as she doesn't have any symptoms. Platelets are also OK. There's nothing to worry about in this reports.

I am curious as to why these were done if she wasn't ill. I don't see any need to repeat these as well.

Hope this helps.
Regards
