Question : My dermatologist identified a small, skin-colored wart on my wrist. However, I just looked at it this morning and it appears to be red. I don't remember scratching it but I guess it's possible that happened. I'm wondering if this is something more serious like skin cancer. I've uploaded a picture. It's very small. Maybe 0.2 centimeters.
Brief Answer:
Regarding clarification of skin lesion
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and viewed the image.
It looks like a scratched lesion. I don't think it is a cancer because it is very small in size. Moreover, a small wart on skin virtually never turns into a cancer.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
