My Father Had A Tumor Removed From The Hypofisis 10
Improvement takes time to come.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.
I have read your query.
Post pituitary surgery hemorrhage is a rare serious complication that may result in unfavorable outcome ( for the vision, hormones levels, etc.).
Since the clinical situation is improving and the imaging studies show correct removal of the hemorrhage there is hope for further improvement, but it takes time ( some weeks generally ) to see the good results.
In mean time, imbalances of the pituitary gland hormones and other hormonal glands should be corrected and followed up.
Blood pressure also should be maintained within normal values in order to prevent bleeding.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Everything is good now, my father start his recovery shortly after i wrote to you
Now he is kind of tired a and little bit dizzy, just one question, how long it would probably take to completely recover.
Thanks
it may take a couple of months.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.
glad to hear that your father improved.
There are no exact timeframes for complete or near-complete recovery, but, in general this process requires one or two months, in rare cases, even longer.
Hope I helped you.
