Question : My father having urine infection and bleeding from it. Doctors initially advised Norflox 400 but it didn't affect much.so now he advised to take norflox zt. He last took norflox 400 at yesterday night 9pm. So when he can take Norflox zt ?
How much time will you take to respond?

Is it necessary to eat before taking this medicine in morning or does it take milk only?

Drinking enough water is the biggest home remedy to reduce discomfort during urination.
Additionally, he may take cranberry juice daily for the next few days, it'll provide some relief. If there's burning sensation also, then Syrup Sodium-Potassium Citrate (eg. Syp Ciralka 10ml twice daily after food) can be taken for a week.
It's necessary not to take this medicine with milk or yogurt as it decreases the drug absorption. It can be simply taken either an hour before the meal or around two hours after a meal. Just make sure to drink a lot of water before and after taking this, that'll do.
