Question : My father is 58 years old and has Gastric related issues. Our family doctor from hometown has advised him to take Omez tablet daily. As he has high BP too, he takes Amlosafe-AT tablet daily. From past 3-4 days, he is feeling pain in the stomach (below the chest). Please suggest a medicine.

Thanks for your query.

You can give him syrup Mucaine Gel for temporary relief. He can take it thrice daily before food.

Tab OMEZ will take time to work. continue it for 7 days.

I would recommend getting an ECG to rule out heart-related problems which can give pain in chest like that.
