Question : My fiance just hurt his back getting out of bed and now he is freezing but I think his temperature is rising. What could this be? What should we do?

If he's shivering and having high temperature it could be infection and sepsis. The safest thing to do is to go to the ED if his temperature does not settle with Paracetamol. Previous back pain and fever could be infection in the spine or discitis which needs to be evaluated.
