Question : My girlfriend has suffered from asthma for years,but didn’t tell me and never used any medications or was ever under any medical supervision. She flew from XXXXXXX To DC to visit me and felt odd on the flight. During the 4th celebration, unfortunately she inhaled smoke and later that evening lost her voice and had difficulty breathing along with chest pains. Two days after a breathing treatment and using an inhaler she has an actúe pain on the middle, right side of her back and has a very uncomfortable feeling.

I have gone through the history you have given.
Her chest pain can be due to either of the following.
1. Cardiac
2. Due to asthma
3. Musculoskeletal pain.
So in my opinion, you should definitely take her to pulmonologist and get done
1. Chest x ray
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test)
3. Ecg.
