HPV is a viral infection that has an incubation period of 2 weeks to 8 months. The incubation period is the time from getting the infection to the time a patient shows symptoms of the infection.

So, after getting infected, a patient may show symptoms of HPV after 2 weeks to some months, with most of them developing symptoms in 2-3 months.
On the other hand, not all patients develop symptoms (warts).
