Question : My girlfriend was pregnant but got an abortion on Aug 16th. We had unprotected sex on Aug 9th. She slept with someone several days after we had unprotected sex. Her new ultrasound reports that her conception date was possibly a week before her abortion, and she admits that she did have sex with them before her abortion but not after which matches the ultrasound report. Based off the dates whats the possibility of that child being mine based on Aug 9th and Aug 16th? Could she have gotten pregnant immediately after as in the same day or did her body need at least a day to recover to make a new egg?

From my understanding she couldn't of even fertilized an egg until after her abortion.

After an abortion it takes at least 5-7 days for a normal ovulation to happen. The chances of conception just one day after the abortion are not likely. The chances of conception due to sex on 16th Aug is more likely. Do attach the recent ultrasound reports for a better evaluation.
